Here @ thegayte-keeper we normally make it a policy not to pat ourselves on the back for what we do here because we don’t do this for ourselves. But every once in a while something comes along and inspires us to achieve NEW possibilities and we would be remiss if we didn’t HIGHLIGHT OUR 1000th BLOG ENTRY! For what seems like just yesterday, we shared the magic AND wisdom through the written word. We sought to be that sensual, warm, cozy cottage NO matter how crazed with greed the world appeared to be. We KNEW that SO few of us are the link from this world to the next. And the ONLY persons that have access to the gate are the gatekeepers. So with the vibration of my soul being different, I took my task here VERY seriously. It is NO secret that I am living in a world dealing with a culture that doesn't care about what I really stand for. The life of a man such as me is SO susceptible to the PRESSURE from a society that rejects me. With this blog I strived to create a place where labels don’t matter… a place where we need not divide ourselves…a place where we all can fulfill the role for which we were born…SO AS WE RELISH THIS DAY, WE WANT TO THANK YOU BECAUSE IF IT WEREN’T FOR YOU WE WOULDN’T GOTTEN THIS FAR…SO AS WE MARCH TOWARDS THE NEXT 1000th BLOG ENTRY, WE HOPE THAT WE HAVE…

- …HELPED YOU RECOGNIZE & ACKNOWLEDGE THE INHERENT VALUE IN EVERYONE YOU ENCOUNTER.
- …HELPED YOU CONSCIOUSLY CHOOSE WHAT YOU ALLOW INTO YOUR BEING.
- …NURTURED YOUR TIES TO YOUR TRIBE.
- …SHOWN YOU THE LARGER PICTURE.
- …ENCOURAGED YOU TO TAKE ON THE CHALLENGES THAT LIFE PRESENTS YOU.
- ...ENCOURAGED YOU TO MAKE TIME FOR STILLNESS, SILENCE & SOLITUDE.

ReplyDeleteOne day as I was roaming the blog world, going from here to there, looking for that extra special something that I could relate to, I stumbled upon 'the gayte-keeper'.
ReplyDeleteNot thinking much about it, I clicked on the link, but what I found on that first visit, captivated me. I then bookmarked the site on my mobile.
I knew that I had to return, and haven't left ever since. Many a times it has been crazy, as I felt as if someone was reading my thoughts , or going through my experiences.
I've had to hold my tongue so many times as I come here and want to scream, 'but I was just thinking the very same thing!' I used to wonder, 'who on earth is this guy?' I've never met him, so how can he articulate Shallotte so well?
I love this blog, but whatever is in this blog is a reflection of the personality behind it, isn't it? So, it goes without saying that I love the person behind the blog.
So, from Shallotte to all at the gayte-keeper, "Happy 1000th 'Anniversary'".

I have watched this blog grow from strenth to strength, particularly from late December 2008 to end of January 2009.
ReplyDeleteIf I remebember correctly, on December 22nd the number of people following this blog registered at 46 or 49,(those that follow the blog publicly), but by January, the number was 69, I think.
It just goes to show how formidabble you have become and how what you say, resonates with a lot of people. You are doing a wonderful job.
