I THINK SO BUT AT THE SAME TIME..PEOPLE WOULD WORRY ABOUT PRIVACY AND BE TOO SCARED TO DO OR SAY ITS A VIOLATION OF THEIR RIGHTS! THEY KNOW THEY DONT GOT IT! BUT IT WOULD HELP.
I think it can be mandatory for a person's standards but we can't make anyone take the test. Perhaps people should set their standards higher and make it mandatory to see a recent test before sleeping with someone. At least they'll weed some people out in the process.
I say hell yes. It'll put a stop to all this unnecessary drama that we create for ourselves. And force us to be honest and actually deal with the things we need to.
Oh, I love the pic...It makes me want to go get a tan.
That being said (lol) I feel like despite peoples privacy issues, it would be good for both parties to know who/what exactly they're sleeping with. HIV is definitely not as bad as it used to be, but it still is dangerous and scary. And I bet there's so many people out there that don't even know they're infected.
But it can't be exclusively for gays. It's not GRID anymore, so I think it's safe to say the mandatory HIV testing should apply to all! \
Don't even get me started! I have a very strong opinion about the matter of people getting tested and knowing their HIV Status, yes it should be mandatory for some, but on the other hand one is entited to his or her privacy. Responsibility is a must and knowing your status is our responsibility.

ReplyDeleteOff the top it sounds like a great idea.
ReplyDeleteNo. If mandatory testing for ALL diseases (that can be transmitted by sex) is not required, then it should not be required for one.
ReplyDeleteYes and no.
ReplyDeleteYes because it'll be safe. But everybody don't want the business out there ether.:p
