I assume out of the closet (sigh). The only good thing about one in the closet is that it's you and him, and not you and him and parents and friends giving advice and telling him what you told them and that kind of things...
I'm just going to answer this from my own personal perspective, one that's out of the closet. Being in a relationship that is in the closet, puts so much added stress on something that can already be stressful. Being in a relationship has it's hard moments, and obstacles, and adding hiding your identity, and your love, only puts more weight on the lovers hearts. It's more beneficial to say, hey this is me, this is my man, and fuck you, than to hide everything about yourself that makes you happy.
In the closet relationships were fun in the start, the sneeking around and the anticipation, but for me it would most certainly be out the closet I am comfortable in my own skin and I have no problem displaying my affection for my partner pubicly.
Having been both in and out at various times in my life, I feeel that in the closet has its rewards and they out weigh in the closet by a landslide.I myself don't care for others in my business, they talk too damn much and besides there are soooooooo many freaks out here that don't want other freaks to know about them, openly.

ReplyDeleteThat being said, I hate muhafuckas in my business so "IN".

ReplyDeleteTo each their own. But when people really start accepting who they are there is no need to hide anything.

ReplyDeleteOut of the closet is for me, but I think people should make the decision to do what is best for them and their situation.
