WE KNOW THAT THE MANTLE OF FREEDOM MUST BE
ASSUMED BY EACH NEW GENERATION OF ITS OWN VOLITION. YET, MOST OF OUR CHILDREN
ARE UNAWARE THAT THEY ARE NOT FREE.
Methinks w/ each new gneration the concept of True Freedom erodes, implodes & sometimes explodes. Sure, we make inroads in society, such as the legalization of same-sex unions (in SOME states), then we have other freedoms taken away, like the right to smoke in public.
Sad, when one has a right & that right gets taken away! And this comes from an EX-smoker.
This is so true! We are all comfortable in our own environment. We don't realize what's being denied to us until we mature and become aware of the world around us. Excellent lesson, my blogger brother!
