Especially in America where black gay men are still having difficulty coming to grips with the various manifestations of their masculinity in the tragic wake of slavery and lingering bigotry. You blokes still aren't psychologically free enough to express your inner freak. And we shouldn't even discuss Africa where Muslims and fundamentalist Christians are keeping black gay men in the 13th Century. Tragic.
As some of your commenters have pointed out I think the issue is more complex than a this or that. There is so much context historical, social and religious that would go into answering that question. Oh! btw. I wanted to answer the survey in your sidebar about my sexual identity but there was no box for queer or for sapiosexual. I'm both. :)ge
oh, and I know this is just splitting hairs but whatever... you used a pic of francois sagat to illustrate whiteness. technically speaking as eastern european descended, born in france but of slovakian parentage, he is white. but who are we kidding when most people think of white gay men, even when most gay men think of white gay men, they're more thinking of a wasp of some kind which sagat isn't. they're thinking of blonde hair blue eyes as the epitome of white gay maleness, no? just a thought. :)

I don't think you can make a blanket statement about either race.
I could see comparing men in Amsterdam or Berlin vs. men in New York, Atlanta or San Francisco. I don't think it has much to do with race - more with societal norms.
Of course having said that, I guess it wouldn't surprise me to find out that men in Mississippi or Alabama or Wyoming get wild and freaky on occasion (fucking the farm animals, your hunting buddy, etc.). But no one would ever admit to it, so there would be no way to quantify it.
