When you first met him he was funny, sharp, and quick-witted. He is the highlight of the party, the one who could entertain a group with his snarky comment. But after a while, he stops being funny and is often referred to as the resident "bitch." Do you think that the ‘bitchy queen’ is too much to deal with? Gay society says that a strong point of view is good, and while the ‘bitchy queen’ can make one blunt or opinionated, those traits offer a certain entertainment value but it does it REALLY provides one with quality relationships? I am of the opinion that life being a bitch doesn't mean one has to be one. Do you love/loathe your resident ‘bitchy queen’?
Hi:
ReplyDeleteThe thing is...we are talking about having a blast at a party/gathering and these are the ones that keep the thing from being a dud...not talking about a relationship. You have to be very mature to handle a person like that 24 hrs a day.
I'd rather have someone a bit more stoic and sweet.
saludos,
raulito
Gay men like this I go out of my way to avoid. Many take it beyond being a little "Bitchy" to just being ugly irate bitches.
ReplyDeleteI'd never befriend one let alone have a relationship with one.
It is onething to "qui qui" and make make clever observations about badly dressed strangers...But afterwards that gets really old.
I gather you've spoken with a former friend of mine's; yes that bitch! This subject touches home, if you recall I mentioned that I fell out with a brotha bitch for these same reasons. I used to make him laugh and keep things going during our gathering with friend and so forth, but the brotha all of a sudden started to calling me shady and saying that I was always throwing daggers at him, on the contray. He then started calling me the Resident Bitch whenever he would mention me to someone.
ReplyDeleteI admit that I can be witty and sharp out of my mouth when in the right milieu, but always in good taste. So if the makes me the Resident Bitch then so be it.
I dont mind him cus he knows not to try me. He can be a bitch all day but he knows who not to push. Lol
