If you are one of the parties involved and you are not attracted to the other person because of their color, ethnicity, size, gender or just the way they chew their food, then yes it is important. We have come too far to lose our ability to chose and become PC just for the sake expediency.
Now if you are attracted to the other person then there really isn't a question except for those around you who in the long run don't really matter.
You may want to beleive that it does not matter, but the real world's reality clearly says it does matter. In the U.S. our WHOLE history says it matters. There is no point in time where you say that it did not matter. You can't pretend that you don't have eyes.
It matters to those individuals who are immature minded. To the adult folk who understand that love transcends across all walks of life, it does not matter.

In the grand cosmic scheme, it shouldn't matter, but... we are human and sometimes folks judge because of our choice in partner.
ReplyDeleteBy all means it matters however; there is the exception. It all boils down to personal choices and desires.
