For over 40 years, Earth Day—April 22—has inspired and mobilized individuals and organizations worldwide to demonstrate their commitment to environmental protection and sustainability. R U INSPIRED?
no not particularly. when your trying to survive and pay bills. you don't care about earth day and all the other pretentious holidays. speaking of pretentious, that's what put the world in the mess its in. we as people always want something bigger, better, and more. the real issue facing this planet and mankind is over population. that's why there is so many diseases and so much pollution. we are going to be the reason for our own demise. on a side note i will say i think global warming is a joke. i read last winter was one of the coldest on record in a long time. and because of this they said that the ozone has become more depleted. which seem contrary to what they are usually saying about global warming. so do these so called scientist really know what they are talking about? thank you! thegayte-keeper, for your thought provoking blog. it is not only a joy to read but i love your writing style and your controversial topics.. i would comment more, but i'm sure you would get tired of my long winded comments..lol.
Gayte-It is funny because you would think after twenty years the inspiration would be gone, but Stan and i still feel pretty energized. Ask us again in another ten. Do you know who the artist was for the post pic. I'd love to see other work by that person.

By all means I'm inspired by Earth Day, especially since I too will benefit from recycling and so on.
