"If i had to be judged by a
'jury of my peers' they would have to go to the spiritual realm to find enough
of my peers, and since that is a feat that they are not equipped to accomplish
they could never judge me."
I make it a habit not to comment on things I know nothing about. Would someone kindly enlighten me as to who Mr. Changa is, what his politics are and what contributions he has made to Society? The internet is somewhat vague on the subject.
Taking the quote at face value, I would say that as humans, a jury of our peers would consist of those people we have helped and those we have hurt. Hopefully, there are more of the former than of the latter.
One's Eternity is determined by what good one leaves behind and in the end. IMHO that ultimately makes each of us our own judge and jury, so one doesnt have to look much further than the mirror, including the author of this quote.
Who determines MY peers and with what criteria?
ReplyDeleteEXACTLY MY FRIEND, that is THE question!

I LOVE that you take things seriously and try to find out more about things.
ReplyDeleteIMHO you are alright with me!
As quotations go, that's a very DEEP statement. Very Zen. Ohmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
