"If I Ever Fall in Love" is an a cappella song by Shai, which reached #2 in the US charts in 1992, and spent one week at number-one on the US R&B chart.^[1] Its eight weeks at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the US meant that it held the record for the second-most weeks at number two in the chart's history at the time, behind Foreigner's "Waiting for a Girl Like You". The record has since been equalled and surpassed, and "If I Ever Fall In Love" is now in joint ninth place with a number of more recent songs.

The song was also their only Top 40 hit in the UK, peaking at #36.
