CALL IN GAY

Computers will turn off and bosses will be blown off as the homosexual community and their straight allies engage in a national gay rights boycott. Millions will not call in sick to work-they will call in gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender OR just friendly. On Dec. 10, participants in the DAY WITHOUT A GAY will join in a 24-hour nationwide strike and economic boycott to support civil rights for all Americans in the wake of the passage of Proposition 8, which amended California's constitution to ban same-sex marriage, similar to bans already in place in Arkansas, Florida and Arizona. As a community I feel that it is IMPORTANT that we show that this is an extreme priority that shouldn't be put on the back burner AND we are NOT going to sit around for the next 20 years…THE CHANGE HAS TO COME NOW…SO CALL IN GAY TODAY!!!

  6. This was intended to show that the gay community is a powerful force that contributes just as much as our hetero counterparts to the functioning of society in every aspect which further justifies the need for us to be afforded equal rights and opportunities.
We are powerful beyond measure and have have the power to stand up and demand change.
Efforts like this should be continuous until we are treated as equals.
