WHEN A MAN STOP BELIEVING IN GOD...

‘When a man stops believing in God then he doesn’t believe in nothing, he believes in anything’.

  1. I may totally lose my ChurchBoy card for saying this, but...

Even if you don't believe in God, I think it's important for you to have some kind of faith. Buddah, Alah, Shiva, Elvis, it doesn't matter. Faith is important. I've come to find that even if Faith doesn't answer all of your questions, it provides a safe-haven for when you have them.

  2. I agree with Cogito, for the most part. But I think we all believe in something: love, money, God, Jesus... Belief gives us purpose, direction, a path for the energy we expend during life.

I don't think it possible to believe in "nothing". To believe in anything is a two-edged sword. You have to believe in something before you understand the INFINITE possibilty of believing in "anything". There is true power!

  3. I agree with CogitoEroSum and Thomas in that deep inside, the vast majority of us believe in something. Personally, I think that faith in the inherent goodness of mankind (or God) is what gives us hope. Without hope, essentially, we have no future.
