¿WHO WAS YOUR FIRST 'GAY' CRUSH?

I find myself reading the daily entries on the blog My First Gay Crush and I LOVE what they do there. Reading the stories of various men and women who reveal their first same-sex crush when they didn’t know what sexuality was all about. Ever since I started reading this blog, I’ve wondered who my first gay crush was. I keep going to the best friends that I had in various levels of my school life, but I can’t be sure who the first was. So how about you, who was your FIRST GAY CRUSH? Who was that male you found yourself fascinated with?

  1. I was in grade thirteen. He was in grade twelve. He was still dating girls but eventually came out to me. We'd sleep over and go to bars together. He was the one who first introduced me to queer community. I was his favourite fag hag, hung out with him and all his friends. He was my favourite white gay boy. Maybe one day I'll tell you about the Portuguese painter I followed up north when he decided he was going tree planting. Straight out of a Michelangelo painting he was. Hottie man. Liked to sleep over in my room in his perfect white undies. Such sweet torment. ;)

In real life, Stanley in 1st grade. We actually did it at age 8, 15, 24, 40, & 50. We are still friends.

  3. It must have been be my physical education teacher; it was something about the way his clothes fit him and I loved his big feet and hands. Around the same time I also found myself attracted to my classmate Glendon a young man from Mississippi, there was something about his dark skin and pubic hair. My television star gay crush was Lawrence Hilton Jacobs (Welcome Back Carter).

  5. Oh my goodness! I so remember mines! I was in the 3rd grade and his name was Tavy Orr. Ironically, he was telling me about this crush he had on this girl in our class and while he was telling me that I was thinking to myself that's how I feel about u. For some odd reason he showed me his private parts throughout middle school as "pranks" and I left it at that.

  13. My very first infatuation with someone of my gender was in the sixth grade. I found him extremely cute and adorable. We fondled each other (he was both Blind and Deaf, so he had no idea of what I actually looked like). That was the only year that we were in school together. I still have a photo of the two of us beside our school pool.
