  2. I wish that could honestly say that I'm the kind of friend that I would like to have, but I have a few flaws that need working on. I'm a good person, loyal to those that deserve it, and I have an undying allegience to those that I befriend. My one flaw is that I'm not always straight forward, I don't believe in hurting friend's feelings although; I know this is sometime unavoidable and should be applied accordingly.

Over all I would like to have a friend like me for the most part.

  3. This sounds disturbingly like I'm tooting my own horn. I'm not. But I would be friends with me in a hot minute...if the alternate me we're thinking about as the friend seeker didn't mind the brain aneurysms, the psychic burn, the sense of constantly bungee jumping and the expectation of honour, loyalty, honesty, forthrightness and loving care. If the two me's met and both were actually about dealing each with the other as I try hard to with people who are not me, I think we'd annoy the hell out of each other but also be a safe harbour for each other. Wouldn't that be sweet? sigh...someone to watch horror movies with who could do my hair and paint my toenails? Double sweet. :)

  4. Aye Dark Daughta! The last part is pure slavery.

    Now let's see for me...

    1. Kindness & generosity. 95%!
    2. Sweetness & loyalty. 80%!
    3. Listening & attentiveness. 100%!

Now if that ain't a friend's friend, then I don't know what is.

  6. I would love to have me as a friend, LOL! Since I am socially inept, it would be great to have someone else to talk to who doesn't like idle chit-chat, likes philosophical and intellectual pursuits, can be silly and naive and unforgivablely inquisitive about life. We would like all the same places like museums, lectures, and concert halls, oh we would have a blast!!

BUT, the relationship would probably not present any challenges so I would not grow as an individual. Challenges are what extract character and draw out depth in each of us.

You pose have such thought-provoking and challenging questions, Gayte-keeper, thank for making us think.
