OLDIE, BUT GOODIE: BEYOND YOU...

FOR SOME REASON I CAN’T WAIT TO FIND OUT WHAT ENTRY I WILL REPOST FOR MY OLDIE, BUT GOODIE SECTION OF MY BLOG. SO IMAGINE HOW HAPPY I WAS TO FIND THAT WHEN I CLICKED THE VIEW RANDOM POST BUTTON ON MY BLOG THAT IT BROUGHT HERE TO THIS ENTRY. WHEN I WROTE THIS ENTRY A WHILE BACK, I HOPED THAT THE WORDS FROM THIS POST COULD SOMEHOW REACH THOSE THAT I WROTE THIS ENTRY FOR…NOW TODAY THE UNIVERSE HAS ASKED ME REPOST THIS YET AGAIN FOR THOSE WHO I WISH TO HAVE PEACE N’ LOVE WHILE BEING ABLE TO LOOK BEYOND THEMSELVES…
We are all beings of light; spiritual beings having a human experience and I have been asked on more than one occasion how I can deal with or put with certain persons that I associate with. My answer to this burning question is simple, I see beyond what people present to the world and themselves. I believe that NO ONE is worthless and should be left behind, we all have our individuality and it is when we come together as a group that it can either blend in or get strangle from the start. Nonetheless, I don’t believe that HUMANS are uncaring; I simply believe that most of us don’t know how to place ourselves in another’s shoes. It is a well known fact that, many of us are aware of our true selves and it hard to find persons that can ACCEPT another as HE or SHE is. We have the hard task of navigating through life amidst the large-scale changes in the world. I know that those that do not see the light of transition need only time and patience to do so. I feel that I am connected to the light and it is through my connection that I can see BEYOND what the visible world reveals. However if we continue to look for negativity in others, we are bound to come across it in abundance. As easy as it is to criticize the people and situations that frustrate or hurt us, we do ourselves a disservice in the process. It is important to see the good in all as there are blessings hiding in every aspect of our outer-world reality, and the potential for grace exists in ALL human beings. It would do us good to remember that when our lives are flooded with challenges, grief and pain brought on by an individual, we may be tempted to believe that they are simply bad. And rightly so, but if we look for the good within, it will be revealed; easing our doubts and reminding us that the universe is a place of balance. I have learned that the unnecessary tension that came into being when we dwell on negativity fades away and is replaced by sympathetic tolerance. We can forgive those that have wronged us because we recognize in them traits we admire, and we may even discover that we can bring out the good in one another. There are few pleasures greater than gazing outward and seeing beauty, wisdom, and harmony; and since we create our reality, we can make the world a better place each time we acknowledge the good in people we encounter…SO I ENCOURAGE ALL OF US TO SEE BEYOND YOU...

  2. Hello Sir:

I met Eric this past weekend as I was coming back to DC from Syracuse NY. You know where he lives so I don't have to tell you any geographical info.

I know that you and he are "friends" but I have to tell you that over the past year or so that I have followed your blog I have come to realize that you are the "Master" of the blog world. I love your stuff - although "stuff" is hardly an adequate description. I am truly awed by what you do and I hope that you keep it up forever man. There is no one else out here who does what you do. I congratulate and applaud you. Thanks.

  4. You say: "It would do us good to remember that when our lives are flooded with challenges, grief & pain brought on by an individual, we may be tempted to believe that they are simply bad". OKAY.

What about a son who beats up his own mother & is disrespectful towards her on a constant basis?
What about a person who is a habitual rapist & murderer?

Did you think about these people as well? Or are these extreme cases?
