THE X-MAS HOLIDAYS, CAN THEY MAKE ¿OR? BREAK A RELATIONSHIP

WOULD YOU END A RELATIONSHIP IF YOUR SIGNIFICANT OTHER DIDN'T GET YOU AN X-MAS GIFT?

WHY

¿OR?

WHY NOT...

  1. NO, for the simple FACT is not suppose to be about the gifts. We have it implanted in our mind as a child and then most continue to believe its all about the gifts all through adulthood.

  2. Absolutely not! Love is about much more than worldly goods. I once was in a relationship with a man of a different socio-economic place than me. It's the heart not the wallet that counts. Happy New Year, my friend!

  3. As usual there are no really simple answers for really simple questions.

But, yes if the reason why no gift was given was a reflection of how the other person felt about me or how I may feel. No if it was a reflection of his beliefs or his abilities.

  5. Xmas is supposed to be a HOLY day, so if someone decided not to go all materialistic, I'd actually respect that stance, as long as it was sincere & not simply a case of them being cheap.

Now IF it were Valentine's Day, a day supposedly set aside for lovers, & NO gift or acknowledgement came my away, THAT might present a serious problem.

    One.
