SO MY FELLOW BLOGGER DARKDAUGHTA OPENED MY BRAIN TO A SEXUALITY I NEVER HEARD OF...SO I DECIDED TO POST THIS ENTRY IN HER HONOR! READING UP ON THIS SEXUAL TERM I SAW A LOT OF MYSELF IN THERE SO THANK YOU!
Definition of sapiosexuality :

- 1. (n.) A behavior of becoming attracted to or aroused by intelligence and its use.
Origins: From the Latin root sapien, wise or intelligent, and Latin sexualis, relating to the sexes.
Example: Me? I don't care too much about the looks. I want an incisive, inquisitive, insightful, irreverent mind. I want someone for whom philosophical discussion is foreplay. I want someone who sometimes makes me go ouch due to their wit and evil sense of humor. I want someone that I can reach out and touch randomly. I want someone I can cuddle with. I decided this all means that I am sapiosexual.
hoLY! :) I thought you were pulling my leg when you said you'd dedicated a post to me. heeheehee :) I found that word online on okcupid. I was encountering lots of people I really liked who liked words and ideas as much as I did. Some of them were using terms I had never encountered before. I remember finding the word "sapiosexual" in someone's profile and feeling completely ignited by the idea. So I'm glad it works for you, too. You should check out okcupid. There are completely ignorant people there, as there are everywhere. But you might also encounter some people whose wordings might ignite you, too. ;)
