¿WHAT DO YOU WANT @ THIS POINT IN YOUR LIFE?

An inquisitive mood prompted me to take a philosophical journey of the mind today, which led me to probe DEEPLY into yours. A question was posed to me the other day by a young man the other day that inspired curiosity within me and compelled me to seek answers outside of myself. WHAT DO YOU WANT @ THIS POINT IN YOUR LIFE? Was posed to me and I found that my search for an answer to this question had me pondering what I really needed vs. what I really wanted. Life is SO fascinating and I know that in order for each and everyone of us to get where we want to be, we need to take certain steps to get as close as we possibly can to our goals. I remember reading somewhere that it said, ‘one has to change what isn’t working in order to get things working for us.’ So with life being made up of parts that belong to an interconnected whole, changing one thing can change everything. From our relationships, to work and play a question such as this would ask that we examine the elements that takes up our lives and see if they can be tweaked in someway…So as you ponder this question, it is important to remember that our lives are living, breathing entities that reflect our dynamic selves…SO WITH THAT SAID, WHAT DO YOU WANT@ THIS POINT IN YOUR LIFE?

  1. As i read this blog entry alot of things flashed through my mind and one thought lead to anothr stream of thoughts, Its a great challanging to decide where in life you should be by now or what it is you really want and sometimes need.

do we parallel our own wnats and desires to what society expects us to have vs what we wnat to have achived by now or are we conditioned to expect ourselves to be at a certain place in life by now.
ive live in two different countires in my 21years of life and i have noticed that peoples expectations change withing the culture and eviroment they are in. i live in the uk at the moment and the mind set is that anyone can do anything they do wish and there is no pressure from anyone or competition for that matter as opposed to what life was like for me in south africa.
by 21 you ither in universtiy studying to make sure that once you leave universtity you have a good job a house or appartment and a car and the last thing on your mind would be to settle down and start a family what comes first is a career and achiving what most black people couldnt just 20years ago. but here in the uk i have freinds who by now have 2kidz a job and morgage and plenty of them have not conciderd university.
